When creating a New Layout and changing the size of a draggable content area, the size does not save. For instance, in the Body section, I want 2 columns in 1 row. When I resize the columns in the Body section and Save Settings, the sizes are not saved correctly. For example, if I use my mouse to drag the right-hand column to be roughly 33% (instead of the default 50%) and Save Settings, the right-hand column saves as 100% along with the left-hand column at 100% too. In summary, the New Layout Manager GUI does not save the correct draggable/mouse settings for size of columns.

We haven’t published the updates to the Layout Manager or Runway in a while. There have been quite a few modifications and fixes already fixed. There is already a bug related to column sizing reported that we’re looking at now.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I’m wondering if it might be fixed for you with the latest versions of Runway and the Layout Manager. I’ll publish them now and let you have a try.

I’ve just uploaded the latest version of Runway which includes a HEAP of updates, fixes and other improvements. One thing that is specifically different in this version is a lot of updates to the data-types and forms builder object. This will be noticed in the Options Builder interface and also a lot in the Layout Manager as well.

It looks like a little over 50 specific issues/changes since the last update. I’ll try and get a basic change log published over here for Beta 5.

I also updated all the extensions currently in the repository with the latest versions. I’m not sure those are getting version numbers accurately updated yet but whatever is the latest of each is now published.

    We’re excited too!

Take a look at the latest update to the documentation about the Options Builder fields. I’ve added a short blurb about creating custom data-types for your own fields in the Options Builder.

Just to keep you updated, we’ve moved Runway to a public Github repository:
